Why it benefits you:

Bamboo fibers are naturally soft, so no other chemical softeners are added. For example, the more you wash towels, the softer they become. Bamboo fabric feels like other, more expensive materials such as silk, but is less expensive and more durable. It is easy to care for and maintain and can be washed and dried with machines.
Bamboo fibers are hypo-allergenic, a perfect alternative for newborns and people with sensitive skin. The fibers are also anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, meaning the fabric stays clean longer and doesn’t smell as other fibres tend to do. Bamboo is highly absorbent, which means that if you have bamboo bed sheets, you wont wake up covered in perspiration as these sheets draw excess moisture away from the body, and if you have bamboo towels water is absorbed quickly.
It is highly breathable and thermal regulating, meaning you wont get too hot or too cold. Bamboo fibers also provide protection from UV rays.

Bamboo takes five times as much carbon dioxide out of the environment and releases up to 35% more oxygen than the equivalent measure of flora, cleaning the air more effectively. Bamboo can be grown without pesticides (as it is anti-bacterial), maintaining soil quality and preserving the environment.
Bamboo grows well naturally as it requires very little water, using one third of the water cotton does. It is a renewable resource as it grows at a rapid rate. The bamboo plant and any products made out of its fibre (such as bed sheets) are 100% biodegradable. The fibers can also be grown and manufactured without any added chemicals.
